Eragon (2006)

Eragon is just a simple farmboy until the fate of his country and a battle against tyranny becomes his to wage when a large blue dragon egg comes into his possession.

Things start badly with John Malkovich asking someone to "Stop. His. Suffering." and you get the feeling he isn’t in character. It doesn’t get better and soon you’ll just want someone to drive a sword through your heart.
