Enthiran: Robot, The (2010)

Dr. Vaseegaran creates Chitti, an incredible android with the power and abilities of a hundred men. However, his desire to give the android to the Indian Army to help protect the nation is thwarted by a rival professor and by Chitti’s inability to use human judgment when deploying his powers.

This is a movie where the star has a chat with a mosquito and if you can’t accept that that’s awesome then you’re not going to like Enthiran. If you do buy into the film, and it’s easy to do so, you’ll have a whale of a time and be rewarded with a consistently entertaining movie with a couple of eye-bulging action scenes. Put some towels down because your mind will be blown. The songs are all fine and look great with special mention for the absolutely stunning location for the first song Kadal Anukka (Lençóis Maranhenses National Park).

This movie contains a mild swear word, adult dialogue and extreme violence, some gory and graphic violence, sexual violence.

Classified 12A by BBFC. Persons under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
