One wonders just how much confidence is engendered by a company of solicitors that called themselves Wright Hassall Solicitors.
Still, in their History of the firm page it turns out that the company has been around since 1846 and arrived at a version of their current name in 1875. They claim that their company name was overtaken by evolution of the English language. They also comment that it would be a pity to lose such a memorable name and they’re absolutely right. It’s the only company of solicitors whose name I can remember.
That said I don’t recommend setting up a practice called “Fleece, Ham & Howe”.
